it may seem like alot to read, but really, it's not. please read the rules carefully, don't just skim.
new rules

01. Please read the Proboards Term of Service if you are not familiar with it. We follow any and all rules set by them and if you break them, you will be warned and if it continues to happen, you will be banned. Also, please read the Community Guidelinesin character rules;;
02. This site needs to be a active site. I know that you can't get on every day, but if you can't get on at least 3 times a week, then this site is not for you. Let an admin know if you're going to be gone for over 5 days.
03. Respect all of the staff members. Being disrespectful to someone, especially someome with power over you, will not get you far.
04. No asking staff if you can become a staff. We will choose who we think are capable of being staff, if you ask us your request will be ignored and your chances of becoming staff will be ruined.
05. NO SPAMMING! Don't join a thread just to say, "Hey, come join our thread!"
06. Don't bug a person saying, "WHY HAVEN'T YOU POSTED ON OUR THREAD! POST!" Try to post as soon as you can, and do not pester like this.
01. NO GODMODING, please & thanks and no mary sue-ing either. Don't know what these are? PM me or google it and don't get all physic with your character. Pretend like you don't know a secret, or if something bad is going to happen to your character don't run away from it.
02. This site rating Is PG-13. Cursing is allowed, but not excessively. And no sex scenes. You can write stuff leading up to it, but please fade to black after that or skip it and title the post [M] and none of the details, PLEASE!
03. PLEASE write something worth reading in your posts. Not just 1 liners. You must write at least 100 words. More will be accepted. Be descriptive!
04. One account per person. It just helps some people keep more organized then tons of different accounts for one character.
05. No chat speak. If you talk like this on all your other sites or whatever I don't care. It's hard for me to understand and looks ugly. This is not allowed in the in character threads nor the out of character threads.
06. Please use proper spelling and grammar. I understand if you make a spelling error. But it's also possible to go back and edit a post. Please capitalize the first letter of the first word in your sentance and all names. I expect you are above 6th grade and know spelling and grammar.
07. Posts can be in either first person or third person.
08. If a character isn't claimed (such as...Livvy Collins) then it is allowed for you to say 'Livvy approached and greeted so-and-so.' That isn't considered Godmoding. As long as you don't make a habit of doing that in every post, it's alright.
09. Don't have crazy font colors in your posts. It's okay for character plotting, of course, but people might not want to read the posts if they are all a zillion different colors and sizes. Please only use the size one, it looks alot cleaner and neater. Unless you are putting the character's name at the top, then a bigger size is okay as well as different colors.
10. All college students must live in the apartments, while all high school students will be living in the dorms.
11. Teachers must be twenty-three or older.
12. You must age your character every in game year (every 8 months). Which means that, if your character's birthday is in spring, they will age up next time spring rolls around if they are made in spring.
13. Do not ask the admins to accept a character or a horse unless it has been a week or over a week. We are usually pretty busy with the maintenance of the site and don't always have time to be running around accepting characters left and right.
14. Pregnancies, extreme plots, kidnappings, murders, ect. need to be approved by staff before they are allowed to happen.
signatures and avatars;;
01. No huge signatures. You may have one big one that isn't any bigger then 500x250, two images that are around 250x250, or up to five icons. Text is okay in your signatures but don't put to much.
02. Avatars should not be bigger nor smaller then 100x100
03. Coding to center a signature is: [center*][/center*] without the *.
04. Absolutely no nudity.
c-box;;
01. Don't spam the c-box. Spam is small pointless annoying messages. Conversations are welcomed. That's what it's for. But absolutley no SPAM.
02. Also, no advertising. It's okay to have your site linked to your name, but don't draw attention to it. And no flat-out advertising, like saying "Hey people come to my site!" or anything related to that.
03. Lastly, no cursing or fighting. This is not tolerated at all. You will be suspended for a day or two if this happens and if it continues being banned from the site is an option.
horses;;
01. You get one free horse and it must be a gelding or a mare. It can't be a stallion. After that you have to buy more horses.
02. If you buy a stallion, you must buy three mares and two gelding before you can buy another stallion.
03. All stallions who are used in class, cannot be up for breeding and must be at least five years old.
breeding;;
01. You can only breed two mares if you are a student and three mares if you are a local.
02. You can only have two stallions up for stud if you are a local and one if you are a student.
03. Students must have one other available horse at all times that is neither being bred or at stud.
